This adapter/reducer, snaps onto 1 in. PVC pipe, and allows 1/2 in. PVC pipe to be connected perpendicularly. Connects 1/2 in. PVC pipe to 1 in. PVC pipe at a perpendicular angle. Snaps directly onto 1 in. Size PVC pipe, while 1/2 in. PVC is inserted into the socket. 1 inch PVC pipe can fit over the socket as well. Rubber mallet required to tap the pipe over the socket.
